A Typical Day

The following is a description of what you might expect to happen during a typical day volunteering for St. Rose Outreach and Recovery. However, it is important to note that things are changing every day at St. Rose and this may not be completely accurate for your trip.

A Typical Day Volunteering at St. Rose

7:30AM Breakfast, make sandwiches for lunch

7:50AM Morning prayer and announcements

8:00AM Job Assignments Given, Group Organization, Picking up tools/Supplies needed for the day; a Group Orientation is held if it is your group’s first work day.

8:15AM Breakfast Clean up/Travel to worksite

8:30AM Begin work at work site

12:00PM Break for lunch

12:45PM Return to Work

4:30PM End of day at work sites, Preparation for Dinner

5:30PM Dinner

6:00PM Dinner Clean up/FREE TIME
